• Next Technology Tecnotessile (NTT) is an Italian Research & Development Center dedicated to textile, textile-machinery and manufacturing innovation. NTT acts as a driving force for technological transfer and sustainable transition and facilitates access to regional, national and EU funding opportunities.

    Strongly rooted in its territory, NTT maintains deep and direct connections with the companies of the Prato textile district and acts as the managing body of the Tuscany Fashion Cluster. Prato-based, Next Technology Tecnotessile was launched in 1972 and is currently a key partner in numerous European research and innovation projects, actively driving the transition towards a circular and digital textile industry.

  • NTT will provide the consortium with direct access to the Prato textile value chain and distinctive heritage expertise of the textile district in preparing fibre mixes for recycled wool. It will ensure strong engagement with companies for research activities and the dissemination of results.
